Ok, maybe not yet but the first posters for Albo have appeared on telegraph poles replacing the ones that were up for last week's election for NSW State Government.

Shaping up to be the most uninspiring federal election In living memory. Current Prime minister has virtually no connection with the public, basically just care-taking the role, Bill Shorten trying desperately to do pretty much nothing to get voters offside in order to just Stephen Bradbury over the finish line.

The libs better deliver a pretty spectacular election year budget to have any hope whatsoever.

In the latest Newspoll, the 2pp vote has narrowed to 51-49.

It'll be the election won by the party that accomplishes the least "foot shooting"

I'm thinking all of them ... best thing Shorten and diNatale can do is keep their mouths shut and let ScoMo and Pauline duke it out for most idiotic leader

He's trying to pander to the factions and succeeding nowhere - he's not taking notice of what the people have said are their key issues - he's trying to ilk back to a "us and them" argument in an obvious effort to win votes - and his constant whinging is start to irk off a lot of people

I, for one, don't believe he's a very effective and inspirational leader

Will be redundant if the Libs don't win.

I think they are going to try a old John Howard trick and buy everyones vote.
Unfortunately at the moment, lots of things in the background are conspiring against the LNP, as well as losing some long term members, the One Nation debacle with the NRA and foreign influence and money on our gun laws is certainly not going to help them get re--elected.
They had also started to run a strong campaign on border security and stopping the boats.
Unfortunately the very tragic events that unfolded in Christchurch have all but destroyed any thought of the government continuing with this campaign.

We might need to start getting used to a different standard of beverage if/when ALP get in and start "redistributing" the wealth....

Now Pauline is furiously claiming the video recordings of her comments regarding the Port Arthur massacre were dubbed ... the level of lying and BS politics in Australia are stooping to a new low.

For those who get caught out in a recording - some words of advice - if you don't say it, they can't record it

    Not dubbed - selectively edited.

But still a highly suspect defence.
