Massive unemployment currently - wait a bit longer? or look for good cashflow options with potential to redev and create CG.

Adelaide should be a good long term prospect but short term I think Brisbane has a lot more chance of taking off. Adelaide tends to rise once other capitals have peaked and people see the value in it.

    Here's a few recent charts/graphs that I found on Pete Wargent's blog.

Consumer confidence is done as witnessed by declining car sales.

We really need to hold these gurus accountable, my guess most of these picks are off the mark. Timing wrong.

I posted on SS predictions by BIS Shrapnel over 5 year period, all wrong, and these guys are considered to be the hot shots, the best.

There you go, don't pay too much attention on this stuff.

I find that, as a collective, the members here are on the mark, unlike the 'experts'.

The issue I have with the experts is they feel the need to make picks in every state every year.
Tthey dont have the common sense to say , Well .... WA is going down , NSW is near the peak so don't buy there .

They feel they have to pick what they think is the best of a bad lot .

Haha, yep! I know what you mean.

Besides, you can't sell magazines if you tell it like it is, can you?

I always wondered what the magazines write about when the property market/reno craze dies down.
I know on tv all the realty home renovations shows no longer air. What do the magazines talk about? How to save on your foreclosures?

Looking at Adelaide's employment stats, I am wondering if Adelaide will be Australia's first Detroit.

If your saying that re me ... Millions ... No ...

A few 100k's yes . Most of our money has come from holding properties during periods of growth and doing nothing with them . That's the easy way to make money . It's what we've done in the last two years and that's what I expect to do in the next few .

We've made a fair bit by developments , but that was hard work and we're unlikely to do it again ..
