    I watched it whilst waiting on hold for a bank to pick up the phone, so not an unreasonable waste of time. I might decide to hurt someone to make up for the trauma suffered however.

    That's just weird. If he is on the wrong side and has to pull the gate towards himself and decides that he has wasted a nanosecond, will he jump over it rather than waste further time pulling it open?

    I have wasted more time watching that than I would ever waste trying to open a gate, even if I have to try it both ways.
