    I'm a bit of a Block fan ... but this year I am totally underwhelmed. There seems to be very little creativity or innovation in the designs and décor. All very bland and unimaginatively inoffensive.

    The boys have done a few things that were pretty cool, and so have Will and Karlie, but nothing close to the likes of Kingy and Caro last year (remember the graffiti bath!).

    Gone the same way as real estate in general. All about making the $$$$ at the end?

    Maybe it's having to comply to a deco theme that has stifled the creativity side a bit too.

    Next season I'm going in as a stylist! That shelly craft always looks like she's dressed by a drunken bogans guide dog! Even on funniest home videos she wore terrible clothes
    And I'll fix the Newcastle ladies hair while I'm there:cool:

    Lizzie they all went for a spray tan...why in the middle of a renovation????? They don't have time for a shower but they can have a spray tan...I am obviously missing something

    I suspect there was a hair and makeup stylist on set as, I swear, I NEVER look half decent when renovating ... paint coating every body part - hair clogged with dust - nails broken and black - and definitely no makeup...

    There was some sort of promotional calendar done a few weeks ago and they all (girls AND boys) had spray tans for that...

    Probably not a great market if they're doing apartments.
