Exactly - unless they use something like April Showers for the waterproofing, they cannot possibly meet the requirements for curing of the membrane as it requires 24 hours (at 20 degrees) for each layer of liquid applied. (It should be a 4 day process if you apply according to the instructions).

We do that sometimes. Record the episode and fast forward through the cr*p and just see that actual end results.

Unfortunately you can't fast forward a couple of months/years to when the defects all become apparent.

We walked past the Whistler Street (Manly) apartments less than two years after the show. The external render was falling off in big chunks!

A colleague from years ago lived in a a semi few doors away at the time. They sold for over $1m back in the mid-2000's. Just a shade above the median at the time.

Luke has got to be the most useless contestant I've seen on the block in awhile.

Perth couple Matt and El'ise last night made a decision that has them looking in front of the nation like.... well I won't say it. And all for what. 5k. Morons if you ask me.

I'm thoroughly pleased that Mitch and Mark won the Domain cover. I hope the Bondi boys take out the win.

I think they deserved the cover but the longer this season has gone on they have appeared to become more bitchy and less enjoyable.

I agree however I could write a long list on the other contestants. I think only Deb and Andy have not been nasty. But I do prefer the guys home.

I find the manufactured drama so uninteresting that I'm struggling to keep up with even the reveal episodes.

Allegedly it's his edit. The producers edit things to look a certain way. Tess and Luke have been given a lazy/incompetent edit but their apartment is fine... so how did that happen?

Julian Cress, the show runner, was in social media this week defending the show's treatment of Tess and Luke and had this to say:

"Nobody who is lazy will ever get on this show — it’s too hard. There’s no way in the world Tess and Luke are lazy people."

“I understand where they’re coming from”

That's all well and good but if they are not lazy then why give them a "lazy contestants" edit? It's misleading and makes me want to not watch the show.

I'm not sure. I think I'll wait until the end to give a final judgement of which one is best. Each one has something lovely, and each one has something that I don't like about it....but the reason I don't want them to win is not about their house. It's about the way they conduct themselves. While there are some things that appear skewed due to editing, and I understand that we never see the whole story, Mitch & Mark, in my opinion appear to be completely full of themselves and don't take critique well.

That's totally possible ( the edit) but tbh I'm not sure it's the case.

Perhaps, but same could be said for other couples. I think some on there are just envious of the boys. The boys had no problem allowing two couples to have top decks. Yet when it came to their plunge pool, one couple paid back the favour a approving and the other said no.

    Some petty jealousy I reckon.

Either way with all the flaws the show has, I enjoy the auction.
