    I'd use one of my old acquaintance's strategy and get him to accept the small increase "Mr Auctioneer, are you refusing to take my legitimate bid? This refusal is bit in the interest of your client".

    If buyer's agents are meant to achieve best value or below market value, why did those BAs pay so much over the odds? :eek:

    Buyers agents aren’t always meant to achieve best value or below market. Many clients just want to buy the house and know they have to pay a premium.
