Agreed! Hopefully that couple (and all their drama) leave. I cringe every time she opens her mouth.

$150 for the joinery and a quick visit to a glazier for some cut glass. ;)

There's no LED or anything flash about them.

I would have recessed the joinery into the wall though - leave about 25mm proud of the wall for a finger grip/edge of glass.

I agree. The judges raved about them but I thought they looked ugly the way they were installed. Semi-recessed would have been a lot nicer but it takes time which they don't have. It is idiotic they are trying to build 2 million dollar apartments in a couple of months.

THere are so many things I don’t like about this year’s. Firstly I haven’t learned anything. Secondly I am sad to see there are no big windows, only small windows. Especially given the location and money spent. I think you need grander windows in formal living/lounge, master bedroom and even Ensuite. The brass bathtub sitting under two narrow windows just won’t cut it IMHO. One of them have a bi-fold door which I like. Almost all have two little windows with two basins. I can’t explain but it just looks pathetic. Haven’t seen doors opening into balcony so hope it’d improve.

Oh and hope they won’t build the pool in the penthouse! Imagine the Body Corp fees!

It's in the run to the finish line, the units are OFI (well, I've been interstate and there were ads freely flowing for inspection).

How good is that Hayden (or is it Sara) as a project manager? Even Mrs No Mates would put him to shame :D (I'll fess up, she's learned a few things over the years) .

    O.m.g wtf
That guy will never be employed again! Absolutely useless. Some may be production choosing to play the useless card but he's not doing himself any favors.... either is his wife!

He's the type of guy you'd send to Mitre 10 to pick up a box of short circuits, a 10 litre can of striped paint (not stirred in the machine), a lighbulb moment and a long weight.

His wife is a total waste of space. I don't know how they function in the real world.

Apparently it says "...&()J&$$# and the *&^*% contractor went of his *&*%$ at Hayden because he forgot to &O)(^%$ the materials #TheBlock".

Stay tuned for more next episode.

The way the block producers played things this year stood out a little.
The scenario early with hubby and wife from adelaide was interesting. Sounded like they wanted them to leave and that they were a pita. But seems like they changed their tune and started working (playing the game) as the block wanted

The "styling tips" challenge early on seemed as though it was an instruction on what style to produce. Perhaps they felt the block wouldn't get the end products they had planned. Also Hayden and Sarah's style was constantly hammered

Also Hayden and Sarah they are dragging through the mud, which may be that they area a pita behind the scenes and the block is sticking it to them.

There may be some "tell all's" that come out when the contestants see how they were portrayed
