A bit of click bait :)
Who actually looks at the livability index when deciding where to live?

Sydney rises in the Economist's global liveability rankings

Sydney has risen in the liveability rankings, breaking into the top five in the global list.

Rising from 11 last year to number five, Sydney still remains behind Melbourne, but the Victorian capital was knocked off the number one spot it has held for seven years running. Melbourne fell to number two in the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Global Liveability Ranking.

While Sydney, like Melbourne, achieved a perfect 100 for healthcare, education and infrastructure, it scored 95 for stability and 94.4 for culture and environment.

Sydney did even better in the ranking of Asian-Pacific cities, coming third behind Melbourne and Osaka.

Found more details here: The 50 most livable cities in the world in 2018

100 on infrastructure for Sydney is a big joke. Even for education for that matter considering how bad the planning for public schools expansion went with the population explosion and rapid high density construction. Should people trust these rankings?

In 2009 Yamba was voted top town in Australia. More relevant than cities throughout the world I feel as we actually live here. If Sydney is so bloody wonderful why is Yamba full of Sydneysiders every school holidays? It would seem people can't wait to escape.

    The index is a comparison.

If you are an idiot and some one is dumber than you.
Than you are the number 1 smart person.

    Does it make you smart?

I understand. I doubt if the infrastructure of all other global cities is so bad that Sydney would be called 'better' though.
