    Azazel posted something in the Canberra thread the other day - can't remember over what time period, but Canberra was third behind Sydney and Melb for growth.

    Well, I'm very happy TA is out and Turnbull is in... it's a good enough reason for a change in Canberra sentiment.

    Brisbane prices certainly moving over last 12-18 months - generally driven by an increase in buyer activity (interstate investors predominantly) - which directly increases rental pool.. coupled with significant supply (apartments inner city and fringe and house and land further out) over the next 2-3 years and we have already seen lower rentals, increased vacancy rates and increased vacancy periods..
