it has been suggested that up to 3 million hippopotamus are currently hiding in Corsica.

Its fun playing the 'it has been suggested' game :)

I had absolutely no idea about the hippopotamus in Corsica!, why Corsica? good grief, that amazes me.

Illegal immigrants in the UK on the other hand, well, I doubt it too;).

As in unless you sell it, it’s just a roof over your head.

Someone with 3 million prop and an average income won’t feel very rich.

You can trade precious metals and so id count them

Some one on an average income will have a ok super balance at retirement( $292,500 for men and $138,150 for women) and can down size to a $1 million 2 bedroom split level apartment .
Will have $2,000,000 + Super to retire on.
Thats in Sydney in other cities $1,000,000 down size would buy you much more.

If this is not accumulation of wealth Im not sure what is.

Property is commodity and with 90 days can be monetized.

Yeah but to say that’s why Australia is wealthy is a bit interesting.

If that’s how wealth is measured, if Yemen’s property go up by 1000000 percent overnight, it suddenly overnight becomes the richest country in the world

And there is a reason Yemen's property is not as expensive as Sydney. If its property gets more expensive than Sydney it will certainly be wealthier than Sydney but it isn't and its such a moot point in this argument.

    What if ... what ?

I agree. I could swap my 2.5mil home (give or take) and easily move into a 300k Brisbane apartment without too much worries. Rolling in the dough for retirement.
