Brand new, giant development, focus on all the fhb grants.

‘wanted something nice but not too expensive’

fair enough. But choices have consequences.

Its a Domain article paid for by a vendor/company for promotional purposes and Domain would be shooting themselves in the foot if they wrote an independent article saying people shouldn't buy carspace free apartments...

Agree with @Gockie. Didn’t find the article amusing.

I certainly wasn’t aware that Domain isn’t independent - always learning something new.

These articles would have the effect of swaying some people into buying off the plan 1-1-0 - possibly one of the worst investments you can make in Sydney.

Well its not going to get any better imho. I was reading and discussing only a few days ago that Lockdown was going to cause MORE demand in housing and today look what comes out on RE. LOL

Sydney in lockdown: ‘FOMO’ intensifies as restrictions drive huge drop in property listings - realestate.com.au

This was always going to happen. Buyers pulling their listings until lockdown is over, pent up buyer demand, Cash in the bank doing absolutely nothing for you, low low stock, huge increase in investors.......ahhh

We are going to be in for a hell of a Spring season I'm telling ya. Huge price rises yet to come. I can see it already.

Many inner city Millennials etc don't own a car and don't intend to - just need space for their eScooter :D. Personally I would buy with a parking space and then rent out the parking space to cover the extra cost.

I’m amazed that people pay many millions for a terrace in Paddington (Sydney) with no car parking!
