Superfund reporting season 2016/17

    Superfunds are now sending out their annual statements to members.

    How did your fund perform?

    Has it outperformed your property portfolio (reports are after tax)?

    Just skimming through a couple on my desk:

    Sunsuper growth strategy:
    1 year: 14.4%
    5 year: 11.5%
    10 year: 4.6%

    CBus high growth strategy:
    1 year: 14.75%
    5 year: 13.28%
    10 year: 5.39%

    CBus growth strategy:
    1 year: 11.85%
    5 year: 11.42%
    10 year: 5.63%

    CBus conservative strategy:
    1 year: 5.72%
    5 year: 6.66%
    10 year: 5.25%

    Cash savings:
    1 year: 1.5%
    5 year: 2.09%
    10 year: n.a.

    Compared to a more conservative strategy the returns look favourable.

    The component I managed:

    1 year: 10.05%
    5 years: 20.36%
    10 years: 18.01%

    but I have no idea what I am doing :)

    1 year: 11.92%
    5 year: 10.83%
    10 year: 5.72%

    Equip Growth Plus strategy:
    1 year: 16.40%
    5 year: 13.70%
    10 year: 5.09%

    I have mine in CBUS High Growth. Seems like that was a good choice - 14.75%

    Like @kierank pal, I also have no idea what I am doing. :D

    1 year: 16.58%
    5 year: 29.88%
    Since starting: 21.63% (6 years)

    No idea what I am doing, especially in the earlier years. Moving to more conservative LICs now days.
