Subdivision in ipswich

I have started doing a few due diligences in Ipswich. I have found the website and interactive mapping is not very user friendly. I couldn't even work out how to get some contour information shown on the interactive mapping. Does anyone here have any experience developing in Ipswich? Anything to look out for? Is the planning department and other referral departments in council reasonable to work with? any info would be helpful and appreciated.
