They are REBAA members. And even if they weren't doesn't mean they are not reputable.

They are also a PIPA member and a QPIA.

 

Hi @fols apologies but as they're not listed on the REBAA website I assumed they're not yet members. I will follow up with REBAA, however, as I do recall meeting Melinda at the recent AGM (unless it was another interested potential member who was her lookalike!) And whilst I certainly agree with you that REBAA membership doesn't guarantee reputation, the process of belonging to an industry body does assist in qualifying credentials for consumers.

Andrew Allen. Haven't engaged him myself but I've only heard glowing reviews from people I trust.

What was their strategy in securing properties? Did they provide you with many off-market properties or just went to the open home inspections as directed by yourself? I'm currently using them(past 5 weeks) but so far there has been no result may be the market is too hot to secure any good bargains. Looking forward to a good experience.

Definitely busy however not crazy busy, the challenge has been securing property this year which is perhaps a 1 in 50 year market (sample size is small but it seems a reasonable estimate at the moment!) We are just a small team, 3 at the moment and trying to stay small which has likely not be the best way to handle this year.

2003 was special, that was supposed to be the once in a generation boom, perhaps the generations move quicker these days

when clients messaged saying their IP val went up nearly $100k in 12 months, can't be happier.

 

I've met Melinda a few times at industry events and have a friend who knows her through his BNI network. I've always been impressed by what her and her husband Scott have achieved. She has a great monthly newsletter providing facts and figures of movements in the Brisbane property market. Their podcast is also great at explaining the nuances of investing in Brisbane. I've never used their services but she comes across as hardworking and genuine with experience in development and investing.
