A friend of mine is planning to buy a H&L package in Stratford as a long term buy and hold investment. His short term priority is higher rental income not growth and the budget is 280K. Does anyone know this market? Any better suggestion in Victoria for higher rental income within this budget? Many thanks
Can't say I am overly familiar, but its close to Sale which has a RAAF base and oil/gas industry in addition to the usual rural pursuits. Ive considered Sale myself, as the RAAF provides a steady supply of tenants, albeit on 2 yr rotation.
Hi Karlos1234, did your friend end up buying in Stratford? If so, I would be interested in knowing how their property is going at the moment, in terms of yield as well as capital gains. I am considering putting in an offer on a property there & the yield seems to be pretty decent (around 5.7%)
