    Hi,
I am looking at buying a two story brick house that has been split into two units (one unit ground floor, other unit upstairs) buy the current owner. The top floor unit has it's own exterior stairs.

I want to strata title them for future sale, and want to know how to find out the building laws/requirements (fire walls/utilities & services routing etc) or if anyone has that knowledge on this forum.
    Any help much appreciated.
    Cheers Jonnyacidseed

Is strata subdivision permissible in the LGA & under the current zoning.

Yes, the zoning is for strata titled units/townhouses dwellings etc and the lot size is fine too.

Will the rest of the strata lot owners consent to it?

There are no other owners. This is a two-unit house that i am looking to buy (pls read the post) I will buy the building, strata title the units and sell them.
