Disagree . Get a six pack , get an old Toyota Corona ( I had one ) and sing along to The Knack , " My Corona "

Ooh, my little pretty one, my pretty one
When you gonna give me some time, Corona
Ooh, you make my motor run, my motor run
Got it coming off o' the line, Corona
Never gonna stop, give it up, such a dirty ..."

My barber told me this morning he had a Carona problem this morning , "Car owner " .. he's a car fanatic . I groaned , and he , said ... mmm , maybe I need to drop that one

Even the ABC is running articles with experts suggesting it's not unreasonable to stock up a bit on non-perishable food items, so it's not at all silly to be considering it. I think we'll add a few extra basics to keep in reserve such as pasta, canned veggies, rice, UHT milk, dog food etc plus some bottles of hand sanitiser just in case.

Global supply chain risks aside, if (or when?) the virus comes to the area where I live, me and my family would certainly want the option to avoid public places like shops as much as possible. No harm in being prepared, and if nothing eventuates we'll just have a pantry full of canned food to get through.

I only have to remember where I stored the Browning A-5. In a PVC pipe I buried somewhere I think.

I'll be living semi naked in a tree somewhere in the sticks in a temperate climate next to a fresh stream.

Living as nature intended. Grubs, wild berries, the odd goanna over a hot fire, a pile of orchy bottles, a length of garden hose etc etc

Interesting, it didn’t even cross my mind to stock up! I’ve been finding low fat kangaroo dog meat had been out of stock for the past couple of weeks in my local supermarkets. I’ve resorted to paying a bit more for cat food equivalent. Worth stocking up on as it’s life/death if your pet is on a strict diet. Maybe just co-incidence already There is a shortage.

Regarding alcohol supplies, I recommend several um mouthwashes with good quality port whenever my throat gets infected.

Don't get too carried away, home quarantine is only for a few weeks. We spent ten years eating up all the rice and pasta I stockpiled for Y2K back in the day.

How many bags of rice and pasta did you buy?

I dont think supply will be an issue, i have noticed prices have gone up on alot of products though.
The only exception to the price increases is anything that has come from China is now on special at least 50% off, still not interested in it though.

We got our usual supplies just bulk so should have enough for the next 3 months if the shelves go empty tomorrow.
Already had my torches from before and most people seem to overlook these
    Toilet paper, tissues
    Cereals
    Pasta
    Rice
    Canned goods
    cooking supplies
    Cleaning supplies (anit-bac, soap)
    Long life milk
