Anyone else a massive nerd like me and pumped to see tomorrow’s planned launch of the manned Falcon 9/Dragon capsule to the ISS by SpaceX. Say what you want about Elon Musk but what he has achieved with his vision for SpaceX is absolutely inspirational, especially while running a billion dollar electric car company. Crossing my fingers and toes for a successful mission. Nearly a decade since the last mission of the space shuttle, will be great to see what is hopefully the start of many more trips to space, a return to the moon and hopefully even one day soon mars. SpaceX
Um .... given their not so great success with recent unmanned trials, dunno if I'd put my hand up for the first manned launch. Hoping it goes well
T-30, I'm watching it, I watch most of these launches. The twin rockets returning to earth, and the barge landing, was incredible
yes, I will be up too So the race is on, Branson next? US/Nasa partnering with private companies, its extraordinary watching this evolve.
Virgin had already put someone into "space" a few years back so SpaceX not really the first to take off from the USA. But first to attempt the international space station since the shuttle program. Still disagreements on what is considered space!
Very cool! Great that it went so smoothly, it would have been a real setback for private space travel otherwise. Must be a lot of very happy people at NASA and puts to bed the naysayers and those who doubted SpaceX.
