only 600sqm? Is there a lenience to size due to some proximity? I thought it was 800sqm minimum from 1 into 2 lots...

That includes weekends. The Brisbane council seem really switched on. Bless them.

    Thank the gods.
They were actually pretty good when I got onto them too (BCC). Took a couple of calls, but found someone who knew what they were on about on the phone.

I haven't budgeted or Sqm, but I'm setting myself a limit on the total spend. If the house has to be reduced in size a little I'm ok with that.

    Concept drawings started.

(I know it’s not major news but I thought I will update this thread every step to try and keep an accurate account/diary of this development).

Got back some very early concept ideas for the front facade of the homes will get more plans soon. Its has three levels, The Lower Floor, Upper Floor and First Floor. Ignore the color scheme for now it is just a default. Any feedback is appreciated, good , bad or indifferent. Thanks.

Very architectural mate! Looking good. Will the second floor capture the views?

What are you expecting to spend build wise?

Thanks mate. There are a few things I'd like to change.. but I'll have a chat with my architect to see if its possible. With regards to the views, I am pretty sure you will be able to from that level because that was my whole point to have that large outside living area overlooking the entire view but I will check tomorrow. I'd rather not talk about the build cost now mate as it hasn't formally tendered yet.

I think I am getting some 3Ds tomorrow so should be fun! :)
