    Hey ex somersoftians

    Having trouble logging in with my old username..it is saying it cant locate it. I had accumulated more than 100 messages on Somersoft..not a massive achievement but I was quite proud of myself. Any help?

    Are you saying you can't log in here on PropertyChat with your old SS username and password?
    That would be true. No usernames or passwords have been transferred over. You need to set up a new account here, using the same or different name if you wish

    Our SS profiles don't transfer across - everyone is starting from scratch.

    Personally - I think it would be cool if that sort of info did transfer across (SS join date and posts).

    Yup. So remember to also export or save your old Private Messages at SS in case you need them again

    Yes... Join date would be nice to know about a member.
    Knowing their first post also helps to know about a member.

    Agree with guys above as it would be great to see how long they had been on SS before joining up to PC.
    Number of posts or a retrospective rating on their kudos rating from SS would be great.

    Thanks for the update ! It was good knowing who was more experienced, made the responses seem more reliable.. odd seeing Westminster as a new member haha who would have thought :p

    I've just copied and pasted my original join date and messages from Somersoft into my new profile
