    Hi

I am based in Sydney and I am thinking of buying a property in Wagga.

Does anyone know if it's better to engage a sydney based conveyancer or a wagga based conveyancer for this purchase?

Does it make any difference? Do all the solicitor or conveyancers / bank representatives need to physically meet up on settlement day?

    Thanks

Just use your regular trusted NSW based soli/conveyancer. No benefit in a local one. Settlement is done via agents typically.

No need to meet up. Most will send agents to settlement or settle electronically now.

Agree with others - the solicitor doesn't need to be located in the same place as the purchase. I used an ACT solicitor for a Wagga purchase.

    Cheers
