Shape of block (sub division Logan/QLD)

    Am I correct in saying there is no rule for blocks having to have a simple shape?

    I am looking to subdivide one lot into two, but instead of just chopping in half, i want an extra chunk to stay with one half, creating two L shaped blocks.

    The layout i have in mind seems to meet every criteria, In terms of minimum frontage etc. I just haven't seen any approvals with such weird shapes?
