Hi Everyone I have an issue regarding the settlement for a property I have signed the contract for which is unconditional now and the vendor who is overseas wants to back out as they believe that they can get a better price for the property.( As told by the real-estate agent) Can someone shed some light on my options and who I should be contacting now?
Short of the vendor failing to complete, dying, not being willing to comply with a requisition or being affected by mental health issues, the vendor cannot back out. Contact your solicitor.
