I doubt the OP product is in fhb area. Based on the high maintenance costs im guessing its a highset. I believe fhb preferred stock (even if not new) would be low maintenance lowest, brick with slab (90s build)

Actually in parts of Logan highsets are highly desirable and at the moment they are selling very quickly if well presented and priced right. Like any house if it hasn't been maintained it will have ongoing maintenance issues regardless if the construction type.

Sold before the first open home with multiple offers.

Sold on the day of the first open home with 8 written offers in one day.

Don't you think Crestmead Logistics Estate will have a positive impact on the surrounding areas in terms of property price growth?

Hi @Balance_2020, did you end up selling the house?
Also it would be really interesting to understand if you could foresee these
problems / repair costs before buying and what exactly these costs of 20-25K a year are?
They seem higher than (or equal to) the rental income. Wouldn't it be even easier to leave it / not to rent it out / or maybe even change tenants to very "tolerant ones" / say, builders who can help ?

Didn't you do the building inspection and talk to the builder before the contract exchange / settlement ?
