    Hello All
Massive thank you for answering my previous query. I am back with another question:
We liked a property in Castle Hill on 27 Dresden Avenue. The agents have not provided a guide and asked potential buyers to provide feedback. Can you please provide guidance on:
What should be the quoting price?
How can I find out if there is a gas line there?
    Any feedback in general?

You are clearly looking for the new shiny type property. But you are stretched on price and forced to look at not so good locations. The one floor thing is unusual, is that really what you want? You lose a lot of space and privacy / quiet compared to a 2 storey.

have you thought about buying something older but closer to transport etc?

Well not really true about the new property (if you remember West pennant hills was an old property but it had too much maintenance overhead)..we are open to single and double story both. The feedback that we have received from friends is that if you have a baby, single level homes are more manageable as when kids grow up around teens they tend to move into their space and a duplex gives them that place to disconnect and be in their rooms..a lot of people also quoted their reason for selling was moving from double storey to a single level. Prior to this feedback we weren’t even considering single story as we have always loved double storey..
Can you please help me understand why do you say this property in not good or the location is not good? The flip side is no gas here so far but the schools and public transport were a big tick for us
We are open to old/new, single/multi-level etc as long as we get good schools, closer to public transport, good locality and reasonably easy to maintain (gas cooking is a big plus too)

    Hello
Could you please provide inputs on why is this not a good location - I thought Castlehill is a good suburb and the schools are also great

Good suburb. Negative is distance to train and close to windsor road. Personal opinion only.

With one storey you sacrifice a lot of space, and most of the price is probably in the land anyway. The teenage retreat is nice but doesnt have a toilet.

I can tell you that they've loaded a search range of $1.5 - 2m in the back end of the re.com.au advertisement. Take from that what you will.
