    @Jess Peletier Yes, the broker organised the loan. I asked for interest only and was told no can do! Thought it was the norm or the banks policy?

    Area would be much improved if they put a rail station at Paganoni (near the Shell Servo) to service SH, GB, Singleton, Madora, Lakelands etc.

    Can't see the Libs doing it, see what Labs offer for election, but can we believe any of them.

    I'd highly recommend catching up with Jess, she's local to us down here, wont cost you anything but a bit of time to compare options etc.

    I have a new mortgage broker now, and will be catching up with him in a couple weeks. Would certainly like to compare with Jess though, or even get her opinion.

    Not usually, although some are now putting a few more restrictions on. Which lender?

    Heritage do only do IO for investment, was there a specific reason he/she put you with them, especially knowing you wanted IO? Bit of an unusual choice, they're usually more of a niche lender.

    I thought I was the only person in WA with Heritage Bank :)
    I used them for my Gwelup development as they were one of the few who would do residential terms for a 4 dwelling project.

    Seems like lot of hard work went in to make it brand new!

    Given that you have done amazing reno, would you take on challenge again??

    @Be Developer if the profit is in it, absolutely!
    Like any renovation or development there's a load of curveballs but you learn as you go. Made a few mistakes with this one that shouldn't happen again on the next, so would expect faster results and more profit
