    Update:

    Well, well, well.

Brisbane is HOT! And I mean HOT! I'm set to go to auction in a couple of weeks and as of today, we have 3 written offers above the reserve we were planning to set at auction.

Me sense a showdown is on the cards!:D:D

Will you go to auction still, or accept one of the offers?

I think Brisbane has jumped 20%+ this year alone!
    It's insane.
Houses on my street in Slacks Creek last year were selling for $350-$370 ; now a house down the road for mine just sold last week for $448K ! And it looks worse then the ones that were going for $370 a year ago.

We had a very different strategy going into this sale. We wanted to cut out all the offers we knew we wouldn't accept and really we were auctioning with a strategy specifically targeting 1 buyer. So we started our vendor opening bid above our reserve price.

Risky I know. But I believed in the strategy.

    It worked.
