    Hello All!

I have discovered that the house I live in is on parkland - I would like to get this rezoned to residential at best.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation and; how did you approach it please?

I have done a bit of online searching and I cannot find any mention of a similar situation.

Thanks in advance for your help.

When was it rezoned? Council has usually earmarked these properties to be incorporated into an existing park when they have the funds and the property is up for sale. They may also restrict any works requiring an approval ex knockdown & rebuild or extension.

You will need to make enquiries with the Council as to what their intentions are for the land and pay for a planning proposal to get the land rezoned.
