Hi there, Can anyone suggest any premium single dwelling (two storey) reverse living designs (i.e. living upstairs, bedrooms downstairs) that I can check out? There aren't too many 'standard builders' doing them. I've got a couple of custom builders on point however i'd like to explore other options as well. Thanks Alex
Hi Larry, The site that I have is 150m from the beach with amazing views. For this project I want to have the bedrooms on the ground floor at the rear (with a smaller living area) and the main living, master bedroom, and kitchen in an open-plan layout on the first floor. I've got one great design however I don't want to go with that builder. Thanks Al
Just about to lodge a DA for 21 of them - 17 2 storey, 4 are 3 storey. Sounds like a similar location, but ours are on the Central Coast. Should be lodged on Friday or Monday and can provide more info once it is a public document (copyright reasons).
If you have a very special site that will command a premium, it may be worth your while to seek out an architect for a design that adds even more value to the site.
Yeah, these aren't going to be cheap. Managed estate, golf course, direct beach access plus ocean views.
I met with a project home builder in brissie yesterday about an upside down house to take advantage of the city views. They charge an additional draftsman fee but otherwise will charge their standard rates for the build. A few project home builders will do custom builds in Sydney. GJ G... Is one and one starting with Win is the other.
@AndrewTDP . Thanks. Would be keen to check out the two story designs. @moyjos . Thanks. @Jeah_ . This is also we're we are at. It will be a multi-million dollar single dwelling (end value) so we're going to make this one abit more special than our regular one's. @beachgurl . Some of the project builders are doing pretty cool designs these days.
