Has anyone been keeping an eye on AMD lately?

They had a phenomenal year...like, they knocked it out of the ground, over the stands into the carpark.

The Ryzen 3000 series is phenomenal, then they launched EPYC and threadripper - essentially blowing intel into the weeds.

If you follow tech, it's been one of the best soap operas going.

If you don't follow tech, it means that everything is going to get cheaper and you'll be able to do a lot more with your computer or server.

I can now buy two and use them as bookends instead of paperweights?

If you've already got two they pretty much are paperweights now...

I've always been a fan of value for money CPUs. Back in my younger days of building PC's for family and friends, I've always recommended the AMD Athlon over the Intel offerings. But then Intel surged ahead and dominated the market. Good to see AMD is back. Only regret now is not buying any AMD shares! At least I've got some Tesla shares
