rental inspections how often r they done & how much notice must be given please.

Someone i know is renting and theagent never gives notice, they just walk in
or give no notice just couple of days when i think 2 weeks is required
They seem to have a knack for most stressful timing eg when overseas shipment of belongings just arrived and so belongings and crates were all over the place being unpacked,
plus a child was suddenly sick in hospital
ora currently just after giving birth with extra issues occuring. both in mum and baby..

how many are allowed a year
    is it 2 or 4
every 3 monhts or every 6 months
    what is it please.

and how much notice must be given is it 2 weeks.

i felt house was in a tidy enough state to have allowed them in, but it caught them off guard and they didnt.

The fair trading website provides all the required information about inspections, types and the notice required to be provided.

It doesn't sound like they are self-managing as the agent is just walking in

Justine, perhaps it might help if you provided a little more pertinent information, such as where the property is located?
