Rental accomodation Mawson Lakes

    Hope this is ok to post here.

    I will be looking for rental accomodation next year for my daughter who starts uni at Mawson Lakes. Her partner will also be with her.

    Looking for any contacts that may be able to assist me to source accomodation.

    Also looking for any advise on what to avoid/look for in the area.

    Mawson Lakes is pricey for what it is. I'd look for a place in between uni and the city with connecting transport e.g. Prospect, especially if she will be working part time as well.

    Avoid: main north rd, the train station.

    Public transport in the morning from Prospect to Mawson Lakes will be awful as the commuter pattern doesn't stop at Prospect that often.

    The student is studying in Mawson Lakes, and rent is incredibly affordable there. In fact, it's probably one of the best value places to rent in Adelaide metro area. Not many other places can you get properties of similar age and condition for the prices they're going for there.

    This way they'd be short trip to Univ, and be on the train line back to City if they have a job there.
