    Of course it depends what degree you do but I found my degrees incredibly useful in my later career (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science), a good mix of theory and practice. Also the hardest thing I ever did, much harder than most jobs I've ever had, 12-14 hour days 6-7 days a week for no pay, working a job through the summer holidays, the easy life of a uni student is a total myth for some of us.
