Recommendations for property valuation

    Hi All,

    I'm seeking to get a property valuation done in Sydney's inner south for the purposes of CGT calculations. We've moved out of a PPOR and want to have a valuation, that's not too conservative, on the price as at the date we moved out as the cost based for CGT calculations. Appreciate if anyone has recommendations for valuers.

    CBRE are usually quite thorough compared to some other valuers. Probably not the cheapest though.

    Do you have a loan on the current property? Your current lender might provide a free valuation. If you used a broker - they could order it for you.

    MVS have done a couple (of hundred) for me. Remember that some valuers will get busy prior to EOFY.
