Recommendation for guttering replacement - SE Brisbane

    Well, I've contacted 3 different companies (via email and their online 'contact us' option, plus left a voice mail) - only one bothered to contact me - texted me, wanting some basic details, but I never heard back.

    It should be an easy job - single storey property, with easy access. All the guttering and downpipes need replacing, but nobody even seems interested or bothered to take on the job. I didn't think there was a huge demand for this trade in Brisbane at the moment (no recent storms that have done huge amounts of damage etc), so I'm not sure what the problem is.

    Can anyone recommend someone that they've used - reliable and affordable? We can't even get someone to give us a quote.

    We replaced our gutters just over three years ago. We decided to use larger gutters than normal. People said they would look strange, but they don't look odd at all (and they carry more rain in our Brisbane massive rain dumps).

    I only just cleared out my files this past week, but I've done a search and found the emails from two quotes that I remember being the ones we chose from.

    I'm sure we used Roof Masters.

    I noticed your second screen shot is "Stronggard Guttering and Roofing Brisbane". I used this company a couple of years ago for roof restoration and painting. After the job was finished the roof started leaking which damaged ceiling. I had to contact them to get it fixed.

    (sorry, I just noticed it's an old thread)

    The guy that @kierank recommended doesn't actually do guttering (just roof repairs/replacement), however the guy that I got in touch with from that company was able to put me onto the company that he uses/recommends to get guttering work done. I used them, and was really impressed.

    They are OzRoofWorks (Metal Roofing Brisbane | Roof Replacement Brisbane | OzRoofWorks). One of the best trades groups/people I've worked with over the past few years (and I had to deal with a lot of different tradies over the past 2.5 years). I can't recommend them highly enough.

    Out of curiosity who did you all use and would you recommend ?
    The IP is in D'Bay.
    I've been quoted $2035 to replace 18m of guttering and find that a little on the high side.
    Also has anyone had an entire house's guttering replaced ?
    Single story standard 3 bedder.

    I did not end up getting it done. The property seems to be chugging along fine without brand new guttering.
