Recommend building & pest inspector in Adelaide

I used BPI yesterday from the recommendations in this post, great company to deal with. Got them through before cooling off.

I used bpi also, unfortunately there was a garage flip door that was open during their inspection which took place. Turned out to be damaged and wouldn't close and a cost of few hundred to repair. If this was picked up in the inspection I could have negotiated on the price. Spoke to bpi about it, they apologised for missing it.

 

I too use BPI, they do a good job

 

B&P is scheduled tomorrow.
Hopefully the report comes back alright.

 

Feedback for BPI - I've recommended a friend to use their services - friendly staff and quick turnaround for reports, unfortunately they sent the invoice addressed to the wrong person. inspection was June 2nd and hes still chasing them up to get it fixed so he can claim come tax time - they must be super busy ...

 

They were really good. I remember I used to get reports from them same day, then a call at the end of the day (I usually read it all by then) to clarify everything in it. As they've got busier their service has declined and I find myself recommending them less.

 

i found bpi dont reply to emails.. nothin major but annoying... i shouldnt have to chase up / ring

 

Strange... I email Renata there who manages bookings etc and reponses are prompt. Maybe give them a call to see if they received it and it wasnt blocked by spam filters etc.

 

I had BPI around two months ago.
Very happy with their service.
No problem with the communication or anything else.
Received the report on the same day or next day? Can't remember.
Invoice was sent one month after the inspection tho.

 

Are these Pest Inspectors do just as good or better than normal Pest Controllers? Or Pest Controllers are better for pest inspections. Recommendation for Pest Controller?

 

Hi all, just used BPI myself - inspection was conducted in a prompt manner, although their invoicing and communication after work is completed leaves much to be desired... had the wrong date for invoicing, June 30 not July 1 (annoying) and are very unresponsive as I'm still chasing them up, disappointing as I did tell them I sourced their details from recommendations online...

 

I wondered this too, I reckon if you get a pest inspection, make sure they are a pest controller. Just my 2 cents.

I have used BPI and also Inspex www.inspexinspections.com.au for building and pest inspections. Perhaps try them as an alternative. I found them to be responsive and reliable.

Been happy with both, maybe worth a call if BPI didn't reply.
