Recommend a building certified Canberra

Hi,

When we purchased our house a couple of years ago(current ppor), it had some unapproved structures (not uncommon in the houses we viewed). It has an unapproved fourth bedroom and an unapproved ensuite off the main bedroom. I called ACTPLA at the time and the rooms seem to conform to standards so they should be able to be approved but the previous owners never bothered. The building inspector and our plumber also confirmed they they seemed OK. We'd like to get them approved now to improve the equity level of the house and wonder if anyone can recommend a certified for this in Canberra?

How did you go with this? Have you found a certifier and got the plan approved?

 

No, didn’t get any responses and we have since been concentrating on the driveways and yard. Know anyone @Leonie ?
