    Oh well.

I put in an offer at start of business today, it was rejected a few hrs later & magically now there are other offers (which of course cannot be discolsed - probably all there is to disclose is the agent has made calls after getting a serious written offer)

But we can still secure the property at full advertised price of course (in other words, the other offer is BS IMO)

I really dislike this particular agent, so I am not surprised, they have told me porkies before, many are irritating buggers & yes, often you have to wonder how many of them get anything done, in certain areas they can be unbelievable.

    Yes shocking SD
There are more real estate agents than armed forces in SA.

Most of them have no idea how to run a business or train staff to run a business.

I began my own company due to being fed up with the customer service of the big companies.

They must be migrating to NSW. There are two here that I now actively refuse to even look at their listings.

And dealing with some others for work can be infuriating.

Hi guys or shall I say experienced masters,

Recently inspected few properties in Melbourne and shortlisted 2. Now I want to put a written offer for one ( don't wanna put for oth incase both will get sccept then I be screwed but I jihhly dou t that) with few conditions like building and pest inspection, correct coucil rates and finance condition.

Just wondering when to involve convensing or solicitor before putting a written offer or after?

    Thanks

I personally have used the threat of going direct to vendor to get an unresponsive agent to respond. They dont want their client to find out how lazy/disinterested they are

    They must be busy.

Watch how quick the phone rings if they are quiet.

I seriously cannot believe that in 2016 anyone doesn't check their emails more often than that. That is just incredible. I wonder if her vendors are aware of it?!

If they accept your offer, then get someone to review the contract, if you do it before offer accepted, then your solicitor will be charging for each place you do not proceed with.

Some don't, sometimes people are on leave, but I find that a lot of ads are left up as bait, they have no intention of replying, it is there to harvest e-mails and information.
