In the process of doing some research with agents etc on this. Thought I'd get some additional feedback on PC. Do you think Holland Park West and Tarragindi are somewhat comparable in terms of prices folks are willing to pay? Or is one suburb vastly better than the other?

    Thanks in advance

I think the expensive streets on the hill in both suburbs are in a league of their own.

I would have said the "ordinary" houses in Tarragindi would be more expensive than HPW, but that is just a feeling and I could be very wrong.

Parts of HPW have more housing commission style houses, but that is only because I drive those streets where I hardly ever venture over to Tarragindi.

I grew up in HPW and it was more expensive even back then(mid 80’s). The ex housing commission parts are considered HPE even though some bits are close to HPW. Part of Tarragindi on the hill as Wyllie mentioned and some of the Queenslander style houses are similar value to HPW some a bit more. HPW has always increased from what I’ve seen where Tarragindi has more cyclic growth. Just my opinion.

Keep in mind, I am now living in Canberra so not ‘on the ground’ anymore.
