    Hello peeps!

From what i can gather QCAT typically deal with landlord to tenant disputes but what about other special cases of disputes between property owners?

    Cheers!

Probably since its the lower value civil claim jurisdiction as well from the top of my head. But the laws, practice and procedure might be quite different from a tenancy matter.

Trees, fences and similar issues - Yes. Small civil - yes. Body corporate dispute - Yes

I found one really strange one...Is Sanctuary Cove a rough place to live ??
integrated resort development matters, legal cost agreement claims, manufactured home park disputes, retirement village disputes and Sanctuary Cove Resort disputes.

Thanks guys and lol about the QCAT mentioning Sanctuary Cove Resort, that one must be a nightmare.

On the QCAT site I couldn't find anything close to the situation I'm dealing with...

Basically I'm dealing with a co-owner dispute, husband and wife situation where one has made building modifications without the other owners consent, council approval or body corporate approval.

It doesn't really seem to fall under "minor civil disputes" or "other civil disputes" but I could be wrong....

You want to make a civil claim against your wife? Umm, are you separated?

Sounds like a body corporate issue. What did solicitor think? Generally a owner only need act.

Yes, the houses which are canal front are real rough and those golfing types hang around the back of the rest of the blocks.

That might be mentioned because Sanctuary Cove was created by special legislation passed by Sir Joh.
