She's 15. She works part time, she has had the same job for 18 months now, she gets about 8 hours a week during the winter with sport etc and in Summer, school holidays or public holidays she gets more work. Doesn't get paid much and has to save 50% of her pay. I usually buy shares once she gets a thousand dollars but she is going to the USA on a choir trip in 4 months so she has been saving 75% to contribute to the cost.

Good work Twins! Will you be on hold for a bit with further IP acquisitions whilst you focus on growing the new business/ establishing income history? Or you still got some gas in the tank?

Inspiring journey - I do have a question - not sure if its been asked before... why leave your previous jobs? I do notice a lot of investors moving towards becoming brokers - but wouldn't it be easier to get loans with a PAYG? Wondering what I'm missing...

    Thank you @AAA

We worked for a large corporate, with high paying roles for our age. We worked with some wonderful people, really enjoyed the culture.

It was no easy decision leaving our roles provided one of us is a Chartered Accountant and the other is an ex IT Project Manager. But having achieved what we have - starting with very little resources, and just a dream, we felt we can make a difference to others' lives, and improve ours along the way. We wanted to be in-charge of the outcomes, and be results focussed for our clients and ourselves, and add value to people's lives, which would not be the same working in a role.

We are very fortunate to have an amazing mentor we can turn to - which has completely changed our lives for the better.

What I (and many on here earning good money at a similar age) would want to know is how both of you avoided the smashed avos and $5 coffees. Serious question.

    Thanks RR :)!

Do you have smashed avo everyday @JDP1 ? Had never considered smashed avo till it became fashionable!

    Mona loves the coffee however!
