Property Manager Recommedations Deception Bay

Can anyone recommend an excellent Property Manager in the Deception Bay Area?

Do you presently have a property at Deception bay or are you in the process of building a property in the area?

 

Mareea at Homes4u Margate is awesome. Working out very good for me at the moment.

Got one. Had a few hiccups so far. Will hopefully be resolved quickly but we want to have a plan in place in case things don't work out.

 

Don't use Gordon Hay, they are dead set hopeless, they are lazy and incompetent, they tell lies and don't follow proper procedure, they promise to call you back or email you, cant even be bothered to fill out a proper outgoing inspection report... Total waste of time. I am now using Hardcourts Redcliffe and they seem good and did get me the best tenants however I had to wait 7 weeks to find them.

 

Funnily enough we bought the place off Gordon Hay! We always do our due diligence on property managers and they didn't make the cut. The property was sold without a compliant smoke detector. Hubby has a bee in his bonnet over that and is chasing up the $130 we paid for a new one! I'd rather claim it on tax and move on to researching our next property.
I Thought we had failed with our current selection of property manager but as it turns out they have been great. Unfortunately they recommended a carpet supplier that they have used countless times who let us & them down in terms of weeks to install carpet & vinyl planks. They have scrubbed them from their books now I'd say.

 

We have just bought an investment property in Deception Bay. We have found Bay & District Realty excellent. They were actually recommended by the agent that sold us the house (different agencies). They had a tenant all lined up and ready to go for settlement day and nothing was too much trouble. They had to take care of a lot of things for us as we're interstate.

 

Why don't you give Diligent in this thread a call?

 

Things seem to be running smoothly now. Perhaps we were being a bit unrealistic with how long it took to get a tenant - heaps of properties came up for rent at the same time. We also had some hiccups with flooring installation from a company they recommended. Possibly both those things were not their fault. Their communication is good and they seem to be thorough and on top of things. I'll keep the recommendations up my sleeve just in case but we are happy with how things have panned out.

 

I can't recommend her highly enough. About to throw another property her way too (if all goes well, purchase goes unconditional on Monday)
