    Hi All,

Going through the weight loss thread by spludgey reminded me of the goals everyone had set for 2016 in below thread.
It'd be interesting to hear everyone's progress so far, as half the year has passed.
Also, it can be a reminder for those who had forgotten their goals or been taken over by other priorities.

    Goals for 2016

    Let's see where's everyone at....

Goal for 2016 was to buy IP#5.
Settlement is in July, so I'm pretty well on track... :)

I've met my 2016 ip goals already
    - bought 2 cf+ ips which are now in a rising market thanks to Auckland boom
    - sold a low yield ip with poor growth and put cash in offsets above to increase monthly cashflow by about $1200.

Extra stuff Set new goal to buy an ip in Melbourne- just about to settle on this.
    Also setting up a smsf
Final goal for this year to increase salary again after a break and buy ip with potential to build more equity. May be a bit ambitious but will give it a go.

Excellent!! We need to be kept on our toes :)

I see @Bran has grown older (and wiser??) this year...

Oh, and to keep the thread on track, I'm on track with my goals. Later this year (or most probably next year) will be more interesting as I spread my wings into shares and other investment streams (although prop will never be far away and must make a goal to keep active in managing ongoing investments so they don't fall over due to lack of attention).

Great to have a check up,

    Definitely older.
I did set one fairly ludicrous goal for the year. I'm probably 3/4 of the way there with 3/4 of the year down... might come close to achieving it :)
