    It is under ours - but in a public hospital, shared ward. Watching an aunt wait over 2 years on a grinding knee and hip for public - and then having to chose between having the knee or hip done then being put on the back of the list for the other - I'll go private thanks

    Other then compare the market is their any other site where you can compare private health covers? Their is so much to chose from and to compare.. Its too confusing!

    not really. There is iSelect, but it's not a comprehensive site...
    You're better off looking at the things you need, and creating a spreadsheet to compare.

    Thanks for all the sites. I will look into them. i had a quick look on i select.

    I know with any pre exisitng conditons you must wait 12 months before you can claim but does this include your hospital stay too? Or can u claim hospital stay fees within first 12 months?

    Got HCF last year, mainly cos I have sooooooooooo many issues with my teeth. Teeth look great but so many damn fillings needed. Had a root canal done, one more to go. & also for future when we start to grow our family :)
