This is a house I just saw for sale in my suburb. Look at that deck roof leaning over to the left. That's why I'll be putting extra bracing!

is that leaning (as in "not supposed to be skew like that") or built like that? It kind of looks like the roof's peak is offset to the left of that picture from the middle rather than it leaning? I'm basing that off looking at the white wall under the roof looking the same

Peak is offset because one side is longer than the other. Thats not what I was referring to though.

Im looking at all those posts leaning over to the left. You can see the roof has shifted to the left as well. Compare how much the eaves stick out to the right and then how much more they stick out to the left.

I think this is the first time you can actually see the full 26.5m length of the house.

Yeah was really hard. All the frame had to be cut to size. And I had to modify the frame to fit 90mm framing instead of 70mm framing. Pain in the butt.

Hopefully Ive now learnt enough that the next door goes together much more easily.

Havent been doing much on the house. Had another project to finish up. And then took a while off. Slowly getting back into it. A lot of the jobs have been less visible things like tie downs.

My wife Amanda just got asked, by a guy going around seeing if people wanted a quote for painting houses, if her parents were home to talk to about a quote...
