    Hi All,

    A friend of mine is looking to buy a house to live in.
    He is looking to avail stamp duty concession if possible so looking to buy an old house or townhouse, preferably 3 bedroom 2 bathroom. He does not want to buy a unit or apartment.

    Seeking help from experts here to throw some ideas on good location within this budget to buy PPOR. Thanks!

    Hi mate,

    I have been looking thoroughly throughout Western Sydney for 550-600K. I do believe you will be able to find property within St Marys, Emerton, Lethbridge Park, Ropes Crossing for this budget - but your mate has to check.

    As for the viability of these as a good investment, there is a huge thread here on that topic:

    He is looking for something around Quakers Hill which looked OK to me as well. But thought would suggest any other suburbs to him as well if possible :)
