Haha it gets bandied around fairly frequently over here[IMG]

We can't afford to build anything at a price point of under £700 psqft...but neither can any developer that doesn't have their own construction arm. This is resulting in a large amount of supply coming on at £700 to £1,000 psqft

Our next acquisition is likely to be around the £1,400 psqft exit value mark

    Another interesting graph

    Thanks @lynchy!

The building industry pretty much shut down in 2008, and I remember there being several part completed buildings in Manchester for a few years afterwards. So I can understand why that sector is nervous about Brexit.

I think that the trouble with London is that there's been a huge amount of foreign money coming into the property market, and that most new developments have been at the luxury end to cater for this. Plus prices were already high in 2008, and barely dipped in the year or two that followed.

Yep, you could get rid of the wir for the bedroom next to your main and use that to extend your ensuite and make it a really good size. You could then just put a normal cupboard on the wall opposite the window in that bedroom.

Ooh Lucky One that’s a great idea! I still curse that tiny shower every day! All of the rubber at the bottom of the shower is deteriorated and leaks as well as the shape Creates leakes also so you need to mop every time someone has a shower. I could also use some of my WIR as part of it I just use to store books, photo albums, gifts, etc. Thank you for the ideas!!

We've always loved the Art Deco style. That's beautiful. (Don't really like the weatherboard addition on the back, but I guess you don't really see it and the area itself is a big plus.)
