    There's not much history and museums there, not that I know of anyway. Maybe go look at the Stanley prison and police station. There's also a cave of a famous pirate, I've never seen it myself, but people have been visiting after a recent TV dram about that pirate. It's also where the British lost HK to Japan during WWII. And the Great Buddha. Or catch the little cart (what do you call those again?) to go up to Victoria Peak

    I could recommend you a bunch of very residential area local food though.

    Kyoto is too slow/scenic for me, but least the air's not polluted
