On a positive - when China was in need Canada shipped them all their spare respirators - now China is sending them back with extras.

There is hope for greater world solidarity during and after this event ... the axis of trade and power are shifting so get on board or get left behind

So far it looks like Australia is controlling this well. I walk past the COVID19 clinic in one of major NSW hospitals a couple of times a day and the numbers of people waiting for testing have been dropping since early last week (yesterday and today not a single person waiting there). If only the Ruby Princess debacle was controlled a bit better... Still, I don't expect New Zealand style lockdown in Australia if daily increase in numbers keep dropping.

The biggest positives I can take out of this is
    1. We will all learn from this and get better future proofing ourselves against such in the future (a lot of us anyway).
    2. Bad times dont last. Good times dont either...but this too will pass. At some point, it has to be beaten down into insignificance even if we dont have a vaccine.
    3. A ******** of money to be made coming out if this mess. Buying opportunites are so present in almost every industry, asset class even worldwide.
    4. This is how growth happens...personal strength and growth. See it as a challenge and the right attitude and you will be much stronger on the other side than when you went into it.

So many kids on bikes out and about in the local area 5km from Brisbane CBD. Virtually no cars. Reminds me of the early 80s. People out in their gardens. Happy to wind back the clock for a while.
