While not *********, I find MG's use of the Ripple network questionable. Firstly, when using MG, WU and other large remitters, the funds are available on the beneficiary side within 10 minutes and have near zero transaction costs. Using the Ripple network is cute but MG, WU, etc will still be charging the same fees. Note that fees does not equal transaction costs. Furthermore, fiat does not need to cross boarders, all remitters use a concept called offsetting to make funds available. However, there is occasionally a pallet consignment of fiat via a cargo plane to settle up over time. Secondly, the remitters if using the Ripple network will most likely have there own bucket of Ripple that they would "trade" internally for $1 per Ripple (1:1). These are just my observations. :)

It's also interesting to see the R3 vs Ripple sue/counter-sue playout. :)

Well the poll was made in in Nov 2017 so 5 years from then is only a few weeks away...

Volatile but finding some stability in the future is a big result in the poll too

The OP was almost precisely 5 years ago.
I just checked the Bitcoin price as I don’t get involved with it, and it’s up a marginal 18.4% over the past 5 years.
Seems like a below average investment so what was all the hype about?

Why didn’t you sell when you were 60x up?

Yep, I’m fairly confident we will see higher highs in about 2 years so I’m adding a little every extra whenever I’ve got a few dollars left over.
I’ve always had this hold forever/never sell rule with all my investments however I really have to consider trimming holdings into later this decade.
